Jason is the founding member of Wallace and has an extensive proven track record in the acquisition, promotion and delivery of strategic land projects and developments. As a qualified town planner, for the past 10 years he has held the positions as Director of strategic developments and Managing Director for two major house-building companies.

Spanning Jason’s 21-year career is the management of many residential and mixed-use developments across Scotland and England. These range from 25 unit housing sites to major urban expansions over 1,500 homes that include retail, commercial, leisure, community facilities and schools.

Iain is the managing director and principal shareholder in Granfit Holdings Limited, where he oversees a group with manufacturing and property interests.

Having worked for over 30 years as a solicitor specialising in property law, Iain has a breadth of experience acting for clients in the development industry. He has a great understanding of the deal structures for promotion and development of land, benefiting clients and partners alike.

Alex Forsyth

Alex Forsyth

Alex’s role as Strategic Land Manager involves identifying and managing residential and mixed-use land investment opportunities in Scotland and North East England. With two degrees in tow, he graduated from the University of Glasgow after studying Geography and City & Regional Planning.

Alex followed his interests by gaining over six years’ valuable experience working as a land buyer and strategic land manager for one of the UK’s largest house builders. He can readily identify the potential of a land asset and has a proven track record of delivering that potential through the planning system for landowners.

Lewis is the Senior Strategic Land and Planning Manager operating in the South East of England specialising in securing promotion agreements, Development Plan allocations and planning consents for residential and mixed-use developments. As a Chartered Planning & Development Surveyor he has operated as an Immediate and Strategic Land Buyer for a major housebuilder situated within the South East.

Sam Oliver

Overseeing and Implementing the Investment Strategy for the Manchester Office, Sam is the Senior Strategic Land & Planning Manager responsible for procuring strategic land for residential and mixed-use development in the North West, Yorkshire, Midlands, and South West regions.

As a Town Planner, Sam began his career in private sector planning consultancy before gaining invaluable experience working for regional government at The Planning Inspectorate. Prior to Wallace, Sam was a Strategic Land Negotiator for a National Land Promotion & Development company, where he acquired, promoted, and sold residential development sites across England.

Rebecca Thompson

Rebecca Thompson

Rebecca joins Wallace Land from a Planning Consultancy background and brings with her a wealth of experience in securing planning permission across the country. Rebecca has extensive project management experience, having coordinated multi-disciplinary teams and led sites through the planning application and plan promotion process.

Rebecca is responsible for the identification of land opportunities, strategic site searches, and managing the promotion of existing and new portfolio sites, including the appointed consultant team.

Rebecca holds a Master’s degree in Town and Country Planning.
